Who we are
Tarmic Digital Solutions (“Tarmic”, “we”, “us”) designs, builds and manages websites and sells premium domain names. We're based in Las Vegas, Nevada. This policy explains what personal information we collect through tarmicdigital.com, why, and what you can do about it. Questions go to hello@tarmicdigital.com.
What we collect
Information you give us:
- Contact and Get Started forms: your name, email, phone, business details, what you need, and anything you write in the message fields.
- Files you upload: logos, photos, documents and links you send with the Get Started form or in a request.
- Your client account: name, email, business name, website, phone, and your password. We store the password only as a one-way hash, so nobody at Tarmic can read it.
- Requests you send us through the client portal, and our replies.
- Billing records: invoice numbers, amounts, dates and payment status. We don't collect or store card or bank details; payments happen on our payment provider's own secure page.
- Domain offers you make through our offer links.
Information collected automatically:
- A login cookie (
tarmic_sid) that keeps you signed in to the client portal. It's deleted when you log out or close your browser. - Security records: the IP address and email used for login, sign-up and password-reset attempts, so we can block repeated guessing.
- Server logs kept by our host: IP address, browser type, pages requested and the time.
- Analytics: if we turn on Google Analytics, it uses cookies to tell us how visitors use the site (pages viewed, rough location, device type). It doesn't give us your name or email.
How we use it
- To reply to you, quote for work, and deliver the website design, management and other services you ask for.
- To run your client account: log you in, show your requests and invoices, and send password-reset and account emails.
- To send invoices and keep billing records.
- To keep the site and accounts secure and prevent abuse.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for advertising profiles.
How long we keep it
- Account and project records: for as long as you're a client, and afterwards as long as needed for tax, accounting and legal reasons.
- Uploaded files: for the length of your project, then deleted on request or when no longer needed.
- Inquiries that don't become projects: up to two years.
- Security records: around 30 days. Password-reset links expire after one hour (invites after 7 days).
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to close your account. Email hello@tarmicdigital.com and we'll respond within 30 days. You can update most account details yourself in the client portal.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser. The login cookie is needed to use the client portal; blocking analytics cookies doesn't affect the site.
Nevada residents: we don't sell covered information as defined by Nevada law. You can still send an opt-out request to the email above.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, reset links are single-use and expire, and repeated login attempts are blocked. No website is perfectly secure, so please use a password you don't use anywhere else, and tell us straight away if you think your account has been misused.
Children
This site is for businesses and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Other websites
We link to other sites, including domain listing and payment pages. Their privacy practices are their own, so check their policies.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top. For significant changes affecting client accounts, we'll also let account holders know by email.
